The Rutland is a contemporary composite back door best suited to modern style homes and buildings. Its design consists of a flat 'Garda' slab, and two vertically running glass panels on the hinge side (there are two similar composite doors available - the Lancashire, with the glass on the handle side, and the Tyne, with the glass in the centre).

The slab looks like your average timber door, with its grained wood like surface, but this grained effect is part of the slab's GRP skin (short for glass reinforced plastic), which is durable and easy to clean. The Rutland composite back door comes in several colourful and grey finishes, whether you want a bright and warm colour like buttercup, a cool tone like duck egg blue, or a dark grey like anthracite. The pvcu frame can be ordered in white as standard, or matched to your new door's finish.

In keeping with the Rutland composite back door's contemporary style, we offer a selection of elegant and modern glass designs, such as the Sextet range with lead and coloured diamonds (available in Green, Black, Blue or Red). The double glass designs can be paired with backing glass, with simple textures such as Cotswold and patterns like Oak adding decorative touches to the glass panel, or even privacy to your home with different degrees of obscurity among them.

The Rutland composite back door is both highly secure and energy efficient, featuring a steel reinforced frame and multi point locking system to boost protection for your home, warm edge spacer bar technology in the glass panels to help reduce heat loss, and high performance weatherseals to keep the cold outside.

Our fully fitted composite back doors do not require full prepayment - you pay in full once the door has been installed.
